Plugins

VesiQuote 2.0 - A simple random quotes for blocks. It's a very simple, javascript w/random quotes to display in a block. I use this in a bottom block. Unlimited quotes. I have this installed in Web-APP version 0999 with no problems. Based on my Text Banner Rotation 1.0. See readme.txt file for info. "Vesi" is short for "very simple". (Get help with this plugin)

Search the Web block - updated 7 Nov 2010. Add a new block with a search form, searches various engines. I modified the original to work as an iframe. I updated some of the search links (from the version I downloaded) and added Bing. It's working on versions 0993 through 0999. Simple instructions found in docs-INSTALL/README_START_HERE.html on how to use it as an iframe plugin instead of editing your plugins.pl (Get help with this plugin)

Twitter and other social networking plugins/hacks
Something I'm working on for Twitter and other social networking sites: When finished a link will be produced in the bottom of each article and will automatically be linked to the individual article page, automatically grabbing the article title and link, posting it to Twitter. A person can click that link to share your article on their Twitter page.

On a similar note: A plugin I'm working on will have a UBBC button which a person can simply click and it will bring up this:

Between the ubb code they can add their user name. That will provide a link to individual users' Twitter page.

I'm also going to be adding a Twitter (and other social networking sites) field in the profile page which will appear at the bottom of forum posts and on the person's public profile for their Web-APP site. Max has already helped to eliminate a problem with double url's in the UBBCode. Ideas and suggestions are most welcome. Updates will be posted here.
